With confidence and joy, we moved our #GOSUMMER camp to Horlesti, where our surprise was the large number of children that Director Mrs Cornelia Zamcanu and the teachers here managed to bring together: 140 children in one place!
The sports hall of the Secondary school from Horlesti has proven to be too small for the children of the families in the Community and for the children from the Centre from Bogdanesti who came to participate in the activities by the bus made available by Horlesti City Hall.
Everyone has joined forces, mobilized and supported us to bring joy to the souls of the children from Horlesti and Bogdanesti, as we already did during July for the children from Miroslava and Cornesti. Teachers were actively involved and supported us in all the activities carried out, demonstrating how important are these children for them. Thousands of thanks to these GREAT PEOPLE!
All these beautiful experiences have filled our souls with joy… The work and involvement of the experts and volunteers in the project was intense, but all this teamwork was rewarded with joy, smiles, hugs and promises as varied as possible, which made every effort worth.
Tired, but bearing in mind that we will bring joy to the children of Uricani, we went to this location, where we have been waited as nicely as in other communities – children’ smiles, shy hugs, and a silent promise: from today I have a new friend. All of these gave us power for this last week of “day camp”, which we wanted to dedicate to childhood and her joys. As the dedication of experts, teachers, volunteers were” body and soul”, everything came out wonderful, children were happy with an unprecedented experience and that is all that matters!
For some children, the holiday spent in a camp is a luxury, for us, the experts and volunteers under the project ”Investing in Inclusive Education!” this is a conviction that we bring a shred of hope and joy, also to the children who cannot afford such a luxury.
