“Alaturi de Voi” Romania Foundation (ADV) is a non-governmental organization of social integration enterprise type, founded in February 2002 by Holt International Children’s Service USA, whose mission is the inclusion of people with disabilities and from other vulnerable groups.
ADV Romania is the first organization in the country that, in 2008 set up the social integration enterprise UtilDeco, where, over time, it created more than 100 jobs, of which at least 40% for people with disabilities.

“This project comes in a difficult moment for the education system, which has been reconfigured due to the Covid pandemic and in which the risk of school leaving has increased considerably. Unfortunately, children and vulnerable young people have become even poorer and less integrated into the education process against the moment in which we drafted this project. This is the first time when, at the level of the 4 target communities, the 4 partners in this project will make an integrated investment to prevent school and family leaving: social, educational, psychological services, medical recovery especially for children with disabilities, professional advice and guidance, the development of human resources and the creation of school and digital infrastructure. Every child / teenager will have a unique intervention plan focused on his needs and in which we will not sacrifice the quality and passion with which we intervene every day!”

We are pleased that the time has come for the experience and expertise that we have gained in the social field to be further harnessed through this project. We will succeed in helping as many children and vulnerable young people as possible to access education, despite the limitations imposed by the society, not to lose hope in these difficult times. Early intervention is vital for children with special needs because their access to education is limited and cumbersome since they need specialized support. Together with the partners involved in the project, we will cover a large part of the needs identified at the level of the community toward the meaning of vulnerable child and young people.”

“The extensive and diverse experience of the 4 partners participating in this project will bring added value in the implementation and especially will have a positive and long-term impact on the beneficiaries of the project. The involvement of the representatives of UAT Horlesti and Miroslava, of the teachers of the three associated partners (” Colonel Constantin Langa” Secondary school from Miroslava,” Dimitrie Anghel” Secondary school from Cornesti and the Secondary school from Horlesti) since the writing of the project, will contribute to the smooth functioning of the three centres where the activities with the beneficiaries will be carried out. These centres, which will operate within the 3 schools mentioned, will be equipped with the necessary electronic and IT equipment and furniture to facilitate the integration of children and young people at risk. The GAL Stejarii Argintii Association aims to make this project a good practice model that can be extended at regional and national level through collaboration with the National Federation of the Local Action Groups (NFLAG) in Romania”
